In Konradsreuth in Upper Franconia – far from any freeways and large cities – one of the most modern upholstery fabric weaving mills in Europe, the Hightex-Manufaktur Rohleder, is situated. Owner Klaus Rohleder and CEO Hans Schüssel are managing the business that was founded in 1946 in the second generation.
More than 180 employees are again and again setting new standards in weaving technique, design, quality and service with their high degree of flexibility and enthusiasm. The expertise of Rohleder lies in its diversity: The product range includes velour, epinglé, decorative as well as flat woven fabrics, dobby fabric, jacquard and, most recently, digitally printed fabrics.
These fabrics are represented in the collections of all famous fabric houses and furniture manufacturers. Rohleder's premium private brands “Infinity”, “Charmelle” and “Q2” are being distributed by strong partners from the upholstery industry and via exclusive fabric houses into specialist shops for interior design. In 2013, the new, high-quality collection of flat woven fabrics, “Mosaik”, by the renowned upholstery fabric brand “Q2” will be presented at the Frankfurt trade fair “Heimtextil” at the stand of their new partner, textile manufacturer Höpke. The Rhein-Zeitung (RZ) talked to Rohleder's CEO Hans Schüssel as well as Olaf Maier, CEO of Höpke in Niederfüllbach, about the new image of “Q2” in 2013.
